As the Founder and Principal Attorney-at-Law of Denaz Law Chambers, established in 2003, Mr. Lashley is Senior Counsel at the Bar with more than 30 years experience. With this experience he leads the team at Denaz Law Chambers in the provision of high quality service to clients. He is admitted to practice law in both Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago.

Mr. Lashley’s legal experience encompasses a vast spectrum of disciplines, including Conveyancing, Civil Litigation, Corporate Law, Secretarial Practice, Personal Injury, Family Law, Employment Law, Succession Law, Trusts and Estates, Intellectual Property, Telecommunications Law, E-Commerce and Data Protection Law. Beyond his legal acumen, Mr. Lashley’s career is adorned with notable achievements. He has served as legal advisor to renowned local and international companies. His contributions to the nation extend to his tenure as a member of the Cabinet of Barbados, where he played a pivotal role in the historic inscription of Bridgetown and its Garrison onto the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage list. His dedication to public service and cultural enrichment was further recognized by the conferment of the prestigious Gold Crown of Merit (GCM) for his exceptional contributions to Culture, Sports, and Youth, particularly in the planning and execution of CARIFESTA in 2017.

Mr. Lashley’s commitment extends beyond the legal realm, as he is a staunch advocate for community engagement and social development. His parliamentary service saw him serving in the capacity of Chairman of Committees in the Parliament of Barbados from 2008 to 2010, and he has also held various offices in the corporate arena. He is also trained in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

Mrs. Kerrilyn L. Walters joined Denaz Law Chambers in January 2023, bringing a fresh perspective to the chambers. Admitted to the Barbados Bar on November 14, 2022, Mrs. Walters is driven by the need to provide clients with quality legal service.

She graduated with Upper Second Class Honours from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, where she consistently appeared on the Dean’s List, demonstrating her exceptional academic standing. This academic rigour was further complemented by her Legal Education Certificate from The Hugh Wooding Law School, where she honed her legal skills and gained valuable insights into the intricacies of the law.

She has utilized her teaching skills and passion for imparting knowledge to educate the public through public workshops on various legal matters, particularly in the areas of Wills, Estates, and Family Law. Her commitment to legal education extends beyond the classroom, as she actively participates in community initiatives and mentors aspiring young legal minds.

She currently serves as President of the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA), where she champions the empowerment and advancement of women. Her passion for community engagement is evident in her dedication to coaching and training young women to start their own baking businesses, fostering their entrepreneurial spirit and providing them with the tools to succeed.

Anne Vidal is a highly accomplished and versatile individual who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her diverse endeavors. Currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at Denaz Law Chambers, she has demonstrated her organizational prowess and administrative skills in supporting the chamber’s operations.

Prior to joining Denaz Law Chambers, Ms. Vidal honed her administrative skills for seventeen years at an International Business Company, where she seamlessly transitioned from Administrative Assistant to Accounts Assistant and ultimately to Office Administrator. In this role, she adeptly managed the day-to-day administration of the office, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a high level of efficiency.

Her leadership skills extend beyond the corporate realm. She has served as the General Manager of Technique Football Club, a community-based club under the auspices of the Barbados Football Association and plays a pivotal role in nurturing and developing promising young footballers, fostering a passion for the sport and instilling valuable life skills.

Ms. Vidal’s talents exist in the artistic realm as well. She is a professional dancer and the Dance Principal of Majestic Dance Institute, a liturgical dance school at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Her love of dance has led her to perform at numerous cultural events and hotels in Barbados, and she has even graced international stages in the Caribbean and Canada.

Beyond her professional and artistic pursuits, she is a dedicated martial artist, holding a Red Stripe Belt in Taekwondo.
